Fixed Screeds

Strong in large paving widths

The versatile fixed screeds from Volvo have proved their effectiveness across a host of paving projects all over the world. Benefitting from an expansive paving width of 2.5 to 13m, they are designed to lay everything from hot asphalt through to dry lean Roller-Compacted Concrete and Cement-Bound Materials, all the way to railway ballast and graded mineral mixes. And for added convenience and fast start-up, these come electrically heated.

MB 122 ETC Screed

Single tamper fixed screed with a paving width of 2.5-13m.

MB 122 ETC Vario Screed

Single tamper fixed screed with variable extensions and paving width of 2.5-12m. Two variable extensions of 0.75m on each side, positioned to the right and left screed ends, extend and retract to adapt to irregular edges.

VDT 121 ETC Screed

Double tamper fixed screed with a paving width of 2.5-13m. The best partners for paving thick layers, Volvo screeds with dual tamper bar offer higher pre-compaction to optimize the cost-effectiveness of your projects. The double tamper technology delivers a 5-7% higher degree of compaction and can achieve up to 98% Marshall density. It also provides the best possible even surface due to the feeding effect of the first tamper.

VDT 121 ETC Vario Screed

Double tamper fixed screed with variable extensions and paving width of 2.5-12m. The best partners for paving thick layers, Volvo screeds with dual tamper bar offer higher pre-compaction to optimize the cost-effectiveness of your projects.
