All-round log grapple for handling and sorting short wood or tree length stems. Can also grip single stems.
The sorting grapple has relatively long and straight tines that can slide along the ground so the grapple can be easily filled when loading from stacks and sorting bunkers. This grapple can also be used for unloading.

The Volvo high lift grapples allow to stay productive across a wide variety of work methods. This standard log grapple is available with hydraulic clamping arms or clinch chain (double triplex chains), and comes equipped with reversible and replaceable wear plates on the points.

Adapted for unloading railway boxcars and short logs loaded across the vehicle, this high lift grapple is designed so that its arms can follow a vertical wall and pick up logs even at the edges.

Increase stack height by up to 30% (1.5 m / 4.9ft) with the log pusher, an efficient tool for log handling operations which allows to push logs further onto the pile and store more timber.
