It is said you can tell a country, and countryside, by its roads. Till the other day, daily life in the agriculture hinterland of Singrauli District in north-eastern Madhya Pradesh used to be a huge challenge. But soon as rural road connectivity was established under the Government of India’s PMGSY Scheme, everything changed - once and for all - for the better. “Farmers now get much of their produce to markets in time, boosting incomes. Based out of Waidhan, the administrative headquarters of Singrauli District, Singrauli Mineral Products Pvt Ltd is a seasoned Road Construction cum Quarry Mining Firm. The Company has a string of road projects – including state highways and several rural road projects under PMGSY Scheme – to its credit. The Company is also active in stone quarry mining and operates three stone crusher plants in nearby areas. “We are kind of one-stop in road building – from project planning through earthwork and production of crushed aggregates to soil compaction and asphalting, even road maintenance – we provide good quality, cost-effective solutions,” says Narayan Das Vaishya. “Our experience – particularly when it comes to rural road constructions – is second to none in the business.”
Fully loaded for the road and quarry
Assisting the Company in day-to-day operations is a fleet of twelve Volvo machines. It includes two EC 210D and one EC 210B excavators, two each of SD110 Soil Compactors and DD100 Asphalt Compactors, one each of Volvo-subsidiary SDLG L933H, L936H and L946H wheel loaders, a SDLG G9190H Motor Grader and a Volvo P5320B ABG Paver. “We are fully loaded with the ultimate in road and quarry equipments,” says Narayan Das Vaishya. “And I mean it – it’s ultimate in every sense of the word.”
According to him, Volvo equipments have no match when it comes to reliability and overall performance. He draws attention to his Volvo excavators that have logged 20,000 hours without any major overhaul. He points out that his Volvo road machines consistently deliver 20% higher productivity consuming 12% less fuel – project after project. “And that matters most in a business where competition is cut-throat and margins stretched. Time and money saved makes all the difference – between winners and losers. And we have a winning fleet in Volvo,” he says.

Singrauli Mineral Products is looking to expand operations beyond the State of Madhya Pradesh.
