Building a stronger network at Volvo CE Region Asia 2023 Technical Brush-Up in Changwon for greater collaboration

To enhance the commitment to boosting dealer competence and understanding the latest products, over 100 participants, including 60 dealer participants from across the Asia region and 40 participants from Changwon, came together in July. There were meaningful discussions on new technology and presentations on product updates.

The event included presentations and interactive discussions from senior Volvo CE executives: Andrew Knight, Head of Excavator Operations and Korea; Hojin Kang, Head of Product Planning EXC, Crawler, Mid- & Large; Jaetack Lim, Head of Market Korea; Gerard Lim, Head of Uptime and Parts Region Asia, with other representatives from different functions. Discussions covered a broad range of topics, including product quality updates, introduction to electromobility and associated safety requirements, functional updates from UPP Excavator Uptime and Quality team, product challenges and how to move forward to handle them, and best practices sharing.

In addition, the Head of Uptime & Parts and Head of Product Support from Region Asia, Region China and Region India participated in a joint meeting with UPP Excavator Uptime & Quality team, Excavator Continuous Improvement team and UPP Parts Engineering team as part of an extended Sales Asia Technical Support network to explore enhancing collaboration across the various organisations in Asia.
