Volvo´s EC210D crawler excavator has established itself in India as a high performance machine in heavy duty applications such as mining and quarrying.
Launched two years ago, Volvo´s EC210D has gained a strong reputation in India for high performance output in the most demanding of applications but is equally at home on general construction duties. As a result the EC210D has been delivered into some of India’s largest mines and quarries, and also joined the equipment fleets of larger contractors, who seek all-round performance from their equipment.
The EC210D now forms an important part of Volvo’s revised offering in the 20-ton class, sitting alongside the new EC200D.
By offering customers a choice of two options in the 20-ton category, the company is making Volvo-ownership a reality for more customers than ever before.
“While the EC200D will appeal to customers looking solely for a general construction unit, the EC210D offers all this and more, and is particularly well-suited to heavy duty applications such as mining, quarrying, demolition and forestry,” says Dimitrov Krishnan, Vice President and Head of Volvo CE India.
The EC210D can be equipped with either a top or side mounted Volvo hydraulic breaker built to break even most demanding materials, delivering consistent power and high breaking force. The Volvo-designed hydraulic breaker/shear piping and quick coupler piping option provide optimum flow to the hydraulic attachments. State-of-the-art auxiliary lines allow the correct flow and pressure for special attachments.
