The Karir Group is one of the emerging construction companies in Sikar, Rajasthan. The Group began business with mining and later forayed into the construction industry. Today, they are associated with large infrastructure project like airports, road construction and irrigation.
Mr. Suresh Karir and Mr. Vijay Pal Karir head of the Karir Group have been working on multiple prestigious projects. The current one is the airport at Itanagar. The Holongi Airport is a greenfield airport, which began in 2019 and entails the construction of a new 2300-meter runway, along with a terminal building of around 5100 sq.mtr

Airport runways are projects that require high quality and timely earthwork plus compaction. The Karir Group has got the contract for grading work that they are to deliver by the first quarter of 2022. The Group has deployed 5 nos EC210D Excavators and 5 nos of SD110BA forthis time-bound.
The Volvo EC210D excavators are high-quality machines known to do more in less time. The excavators have a mighty six-cylinder engine with high torque, powerful hydraulics, and a large lifting capacity to move more tonnes. The Karir Group has executed 3200 Cu.m of earthwork with a single EC210D with reverse loading, in a single day.
The SD110BA is ready to handle compaction with enhanced traction and gradeability. The 11-ton compactor with powerful drum performance is the best to achieve smooth compaction with fewer passes.
