Under the theme "Power Your Ambition", Volvo CE arrived at the Festival Grounds with a 55,000-square-foot booth and a next-generation lineup that is more powerful, more connected and more versatile than ever. Visitors explored more than 20 machines, including 14 new or first-look models across electric and conventional power, alongside live demos, hands-on operating experiences and integrated displays from Volvo Trucks and Volvo Financial Services showing the strength of the wider Volvo Group offering.
"CONEXPO is about listening to our customers so we can support their ambitions," said Melker Jernberg, President Volvo CE. "We are not just showing what the future could look like; we brought machines and services that are ready to deliver today."
40% Renewed Machine Portfolio Focused on Customer Priorities
Since the industry last gathered in Las Vegas, approximately 40% of the Volvo Group portfolio has been renewed. Volvo CE alone has updated more than 35% of its machines, guided by a multi-technology approach that includes battery-electric, internal combustion engine and grid-connected solutions. The biggest updates are across key product platforms-excavators, wheel loaders and articulated haulers-which together represent around 70% of the global construction market.
At CONEXPO 2026, highlights included:

Full Range of Services and Solutions Boost Productivity for Customers
Hardware is only half of the story. Inside an immersive "site office," Volvo CE experts showed how tools like Load Ticket, Connected Map and ActiveCare® Direct transform raw data into uptime and safety.
Those seeking flexible fleet options learned about Volvo CE's growing Equipment as a Service (EaaS) model, which offers guaranteed availability and predictable costs with a simple pay-for-use structure.
"Since the last CONEXPO we've renewed more than a third of our construction equipment lineup and brought powerful new machines to market - but the full customer value comes when those machines are combined with our services and digital tools," said Scott Young, President, Volvo Construction Equipment North America. "The right machines, backed by the right services, help our customers work safer, more productively and with lower total cost of ownership."
Long‑Term Commitment to North American Customers
At the show, the Volvo Group reinforced its long-term commitment to North America through $1.2 billion USD in strategic investments designed to strengthen manufacturing capabilities, regionalize supply chains and support the next generation of sustainable technologies.
A centerpiece of this strategy is a $40 million USD investment in the Shippensburg, Pa., facility, which brings production of excavators and four large wheel loader models to the U.S. in early 2026, giving customers confidence that their equipment is backed by local manufacturing and support. This is part of a significant Volvo CE investment in the global excavator manufacturing footprint.
Breaking New Ground Together
The hands-on nature of the booth brought the Volvo CE passion for partnership and operator-focused innovation to life. Attendees operated compact diesel and mid-size electric excavators, including the 23-ton EC230 Electric excavator. They consistently noted that the electric machine's performance matches the expectations of demanding applications without compromise.
Appearances by "Gold Rush" star Tony Beets, popular YouTuber LetsDig18 and other influencers helped connect Volvo CE innovations to the people who build the future every day.
"'Power Your Ambition' means meeting every customer where they are and bringing the full strength of the Volvo Group to their goals. When our customers succeed, communities succeed -that's how we move the world forward," Jernberg said.
