Access even more mixed fleet telematics data with AEMP 2.0 API

We appreciate that many, if not most, of our customers operate fleets incorporating machines from several different brands, and that managing multiple telematics solutions is a common challenge.

That’s why we offer our CareTrack telematics data through the industry standard API (Application Programming Interface) from the AEMP (Association of Equipment Management Professionals).

This stream can be integrated into a third-party system or dashboard alongside telematics data from other brands of machinery, for a single user-friendly login that gives an overview of the whole fleet.

In September last year, we began migrating customers already using AEMP 1.2 to AEMP 2.0. This latest version is now available to all other customers, and includes even more data points, such as load data, idle hours, and fault codes.

To facilitate implementation, we provide developers all the resources they need to easily set up and test the API integration for Volvo CE machines in a Volvo Developers’ Portal. The portal also includes a wealth of information on AEMP 2.0, the available data points and how to access support.
