The future for compact construction equipment is electric – but for us at Belley, that future is already here. We are proud specialists in the production of compact electric excavators, contributing to Volvo CE pioneering the industry’s largest range of electric machines.
From our home in Belley, in the heart of the French Alps, we have been designing and manufacturing compact excavators since 1984, adding electric variants to our line-up from 2019. Originally part of the French compact machine manufacturer Pel-Job, we joined Volvo CE in 1995. Now with 400 employees across four different functions – manufacturing, sales and marketing, purchasing and research and development – we apply our passion and innovation to produce thousands of compact excavators every year.
Our site also contains a Demonstration Center where we welcome customers and visitors to try out our machines.
