Following international positions in Europe and Asia, most recently as Vice President of communications in Asia Pacific, Anne Bast has been assigned to Volvo CE’s Europe, Middle East and Africa organization as Vice President, corporate communications.
Effective immediately, Anne Bast has been appointed to the role of Vice President, Corporate Communications, at Volvo Construction Equipment’s EMEA organization. As part of the local executive management team, she will help drive both internal communications and press relations for the region, as well as continuing to develop corporate communication standards and practices for communications across both the sales and manufacturing businesses.
Based at the regional headquarters in Eskilstuna, Sweden, Anne will co-ordinate the communication of both global and regional information, reporting to regional President Tomas Kuta.
Anne, 39, holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Sweden’s Mälardalen University and joined Volvo CE in 2000, where she has since held a number of international positions. Her two most recent roles have seen her manage global internal communications at Volvo CE’s Brussels headquarters and, since 2009, lead Volvo CE’s corporate communications efforts in the Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore.
