Volvo CE is:
Taking place in Eskilstuna, Sweden, Volvo Days will welcome a record number of visitors to explore Volvo CE’s latest machine and digital innovations – and to meet the people behind them. The location reflects the event theme, Smarter Solutions. Driven by you., highlighting how long-term strategic investment is enabling Volvo CE’s transformation. At Volvo Days, Volvo CE showcases smarter solutions, driven by its customers, where every product, service, and experience is designed to power productivity, profitability, and sustainable success.

“Volvo Days is about showing, not telling,” said Melker Jernberg, President of Volvo CE. “In an increasingly complex world, we have made clear choices about where to focus and invest. What we are demonstrating here is how those decisions translate into real impact for our customers, as we move closer to their operations, respond faster, and strengthen resilience in an uncertain environment.”
The next era of construction
At Volvo Days, this transformation is brought to life. Volvo CE is showcasing its shift towards a more integrated, solutions-driven approach, integrating machines, services and digital technologies to support customers’ evolving needs.
A targeted industry-segment focus enables more precise, application-specific solutions across sectors such as quarrying, mining and construction, helping customer stay competitive in a rapidly changing industry.

Hanna Ihnatovich, Head of Region International, comments: “Across international markets, our customers face very different realities. Our role is to be a trusted partner, helping them navigate change with the right mix of machines, technologies, and services.”
Investing in products and solutions
Volvo CE continues to accelerate investment in its products and solutions, with around 80 new and updated machine models introduced in recent years, alongside a 50% refresh of its services portfolio. Nearly 16,000 new-generation machines are now in operation worldwide, delivering improvements in productivity, efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
At Volvo Days 2026, this progress is reflected in a broad line-up of new and upgraded compact and heavy machines. Highlights include European debuts such as the ECR255 and ECR355 short-swing crawler excavators, alongside the compact ECR90, EC65 and wheeled EW65, and the EC560 crawler excavator.

Electrification remains a major focus. The A40 Electric articulated hauler - now in serial production alongside the A30 Electric – is showcased along with the EWR150 Electric, highlighting the growing breadth of Volvo CE’s electric offering.
Digital innovation takes center stage, with Site Solutions having a dedicated presence on the agenda for the first time. By combining connectivity with data-driven insights, Volvo CE is helping customers optimize performance and make smarter decisions, supporting the next era of construction.
Investing in the industrial and retail footprint
Volvo CE is strengthening its industrial and retail footprint to get closer to customers, shorten lead times and mitigate supply chain disruptions. In Europe, this includes a SEK 9.2 billion investment, with SEK 702 million for a new excavator assembly facility in Eskilstuna, Sweden, set to begin production in 2028. The plant will produce up to 3,500 machines annually as volumes ramp up, marking Volvo CE’s first excavator manufacturing in Sweden.
This investment is complemented by the acquisition of Swecon, expanding Volvo CE’s presence and providing direct access to around 70% of its retail operations in Europe. A key element in capturing future growth, the acquisition strengthens Volvo CE’s position in the value chain and secures the customer interface, enabling closer customer proximity and deeper relationships. This, in turn, unlocks new value through integrated, solution-based offerings while increasing penetration of services, parts, and workshop solutions, driving higher profitability, more resilient earnings, and supporting the company’s broader transformation towards sustainable site solutions.
Carl Slotte, Head of Region Europe, said: “Eskilstuna is a powerful symbol of our commitment to Europe. By investing closer to our customers, we are strengthening our ability to respond faster, collaborate more closely, and support them in staying competitive in a rapidly changing market.”
From investment to impact
At Volvo Days 2026, Volvo CE is demonstrating that its strategic investments — in our products, services, industrial capabilities and customer proximity — are already delivering results.
By combining innovation with industrial strength and closer customer relationships, Volvo CE is equipping customers with the solutions they need to stay competitive and succeed in an increasingly complex and demanding world.
