Volvo Group Innovation Summits

Following 2017’ Summits, the Volvo Group hosted a new Innovation Summit in Berlin on September 12 focusing on developing technologies connected to electromobility, automation and connectivity that will help to make the construction industry more sustainable.

A new way to organize our society, a new mindset about transport and mobility is possible. We want to revolutionize the industry and spark a dialogue about the future. Our society can be better thanks to innovations, such as increased transport efficiency, lower environmental impact and improved traffic safety.

The Innovation Summit in Berlin followed the topic of the past three Innovation Summits hosted by Volvo Group during 2017 in London, Brussels and Beijing, designed to further the debate and introduce new thinking on prominent current issues (including air quality and pollution, congestion, health and road safety). The Summits also included demonstrations of some of the Volvo Group’s latest innovations in research and development.
