Volvo Construction Equipment unveiled a range of new technologies and services at CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2017 with major launches, operator assist technology, and a new era for telematics support. Showcasing a total of 28 machines, including new models and industry-changing concept ideas, visitors to this year’s Volvo exhibit saw the company’s ‘push boundaries’ message loud and clear. The event launched the Volvo flagship wheel loader – the L350H – the true two-pass L260H loader, plus new compaction equipment and a host of other machine and customer-supporting control systems.
Visitors had access to both an indoor (N10036) and an outdoor booth (G3894). The indoor area featured the latest equipment and interactive experiences, with new technologies from Volvo CE, as well as sister brands Volvo Trucks, Volvo Financial Services and Volvo Penta. The outdoor booth provided visitors the chance to see the latest in compact equipment and attachments, participate in an operating contest using a compact excavator, and visit stars of Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush. Volvo also hosted the latest round of the Construction Climate Challenge with leading influencers, discussing how the industry can best address environmental issues.
