Getting in and out of the cab is safer and more convenient with a repositioned door entrance that opens comfortably while standing on the roomy platform. We’ve added safety railings and focused lighting on the stairs and platforms to further enhance safety. Inside the cab, visibility has been improved with redesigned cab panels and wider wiper coverage, providing direct field of vision that exceeds industry standards. For those who want even more, optional front and rear cameras, along with pillar work lights, provide an extra layer of visibility, alongside a standard entrance camera. There’s a new ladder under the hood and essential maintenance parts are all accessible from the ground. Daily or weekly greasing is a thing of the past, with industry-leading 250-hour greasing intervals. And with Volvo engine oil and high-performance filters delivering 1,000-hour engine service intervals, 50% less oil and filters are required over the lifetime of the hauler.
