Avoid underground hazards
Set a depth limit to prevent the bucket from hitting buried pipes or cables, protecting your crew and your budget.
Prevent overhead contact
Use height limits to stop the boom and bucket before they reach power lines or other dangerous overhead obstacles.
Protect your surroundings
Establish a swing fence to stay within safe zones and avoid people and side obstacles like traffic, buildings or other machines.
Limit your reach
Set a horizontal boundary to prevent the bucket or arm from striking walls or objects in front of your machine.
Guard your cab
Establish an invisible barrier that prevents the bucket from contacting the cab, reducing the risk of equipment damage.
Additional assist and protect features
Automated grading
Boom and bucket movements are automatically adjusted to
maintain an even grade. With single-lever grading, your left hand
controls the arm speed, while your right hand takes a break.
Swing control
Allows to pre-program the location of the trench and pile, to
assist in digging and truck loading. Can be overridden with the
joystick.
Bucket angle control with return to dig
Automated bucket adjustments maintain a constant cutting angle.
Tilt bucket control
Digging a V-shaped ditch is made easy with automated tilt bucket control.

Control with your 3D site designs. By integrating with Unicontrol or
Topcon, Active Control allows the bucket to automatically follow the
digital surface of your project — helping you hit precise grades faster
