The Volvo ECR18 Electric provides everything you would expect from its diesel counterpart, including a spacious and uncluttered cab, ergonomic and intuitive controls, unrivalled combined movements as well as best-in-class stability. What’s more, with the electric concept operators benefit from low noise and vibration, more responsive hydraulics due to the immediate torque, and a range of customizable settings to adapt machine behavior according to the type of work and operator preference. Auxiliary hydraulic flows and joystick responsiveness are easily adjusted from the user-friendly interface.

Work in confined spaces with total confidence thanks to the ultra-short tail radius and excellent all-around machine protection.

Small but tough

The ultra-short tail radius of the ECR18 Electric, along with the frame corner, swing post and cylinder which stay safely within the tracks’ width, provide maximum versatility, visibility and reduced risk of machine damage when digging alongside obstacles. Protection has been considered throughout every detail of the design with a unique high-profile counterweight made from strong cast iron which wraps around the rear of the machine, combined with all-around steel panels and hoses routed inside the boom.

Built with durability in mind

The unique high-profile counterweight design is made from three strong pieces of cast iron which wrap around the rear of the machine, protecting all vital components. All-round steel panels, recessed 10mm from the counterweight and hoses routed inside the boom offer further protection.

Featuring industry-leading battery technology, the ECR18 Electric offers up to 5 hours of runtime and comes with solutions to help you manage the charging process more efficiently.

Make the most of every charge

The Volvo ECR18 Electric can deliver up to 5 hours of work per charge depending on the environment, task at hand and work mode. For example, 3 hours 30 minutes of non-stop work could be expected when grading continuously. The ECR18 Electric can be recharged in as little as 1 hour. Vous avez le choix entre de nombreuses solutions de recharge en fonction de vos conditions d'exploitation.

Choice of charging solutions

The Volvo ECR18 Electric comes with an integrated on-board charger. It supplies a 3 kW power output to the batteries, allowing the machine to charge from 0 to 100% in up to 5 hours, and comes with the necessary charging cable, plug and adapters to charge from a wall socket or wallbox.   When projects and applications demand faster charging, a range of optional fast off-board chargers are available for both indoor and outdoor use. These will charge the machine from 0 to 80% in  up to 1 hour.
