A Safer Worksite

Tips for a safer worksite:

• Do not operate a machine before having read and understood the Operator's manual.
• Before each shift, check equipment to ensure that parts, equipment and accessories are in safe operating condition and free from apparent damage that could cause failure while in use.
• Make sure all defects are corrected before the vehicle is placed in service.
• Wear seat belts.
• Do not drive a machine in reverse before you have made sure there is nobody behind the machine.

• Make sure all personnel are clear before using dumping or lifting devices.
• Lower all blades, buckets, dumper bodies, etc. when not in use.
• Leave all controls in neutral when not in use.
• Do not exceed a vehicle's rated load or lift capacity.
• Do not carry personnel unless there is a safe place to ride.
