1844 – Carl Gerhard Bolinder

Jean's younger brother Carl Gerhard also had several things in common with Johan Munktell. He was enthusiastic, a technical talent and a skilled engineer to name a few.

In the 1930's, Carl worked as a carpenter's apprentice in the workshop run by Samuel Owen, one of the most prominent industrial names in Stockholm at that time.

At Kungsholmens Gjuteri & Maskin Verkstad, he mostly dealt with the technical aspects of running the factory and the foundry in particular.

Carl's three children eventually took over the management of the company. Like Jean and Johan Munktell, Carl was decorated with the Order of Vasa for his contribution to Swedish industry.
