How We Determine Our Calculations
Scenario calculations were performed using our Site Simulation tool with these parameters:
- Bucket volumes (in cubic yards) based on ISO 7451 standard — actual volumes may vary.
- Optimal excavator/hauler pairing achieves 3-5 bucket passes per fill and wheel loader/hauler pairing achieves 2-3 bucket passes per fill; fewer or more passes indicates improper sizing.
- The position of the excavator is based on 45 or 90 degree above and 90 or 180 degree at the same level.
- These are estimates only and more information can be given with full studies by your local Volvo dealer.
