Gradeability

The SD70 provides outstanding climbing and traction capabilities across a variety of conditions, designed to prevent wheel and drum spin, improve gradeability and maximize performance and productivity. For the more demanding applications, an optional higher traction variant optimizes hydraulic flow between the drum and tire drive systems to provide the correct balance of power across the two points for enhanced climbing performance.
