Load Ticket

Manual load tickets slow down the invoicing process, create room for error, and pile up admin work in the site office. Load Ticket connects your Volvo wheel loaders and excavators equipped with Volvo On-board Weighing directly to the office dashboard, sending verified load data in real time. This gives your team accurate records for smooth invoicing, reduced admin work, and improved operational oversight – without the paperwork.

Benefit from real-time invoicing

Automatic data capture sends load tickets from the machine to the office dashboard in real time. This gives administrators rapid access to accurate data for invoicing, which can reduce errors and contribute to faster billing.

Minimize lost tickets & paperwork

Load tickets are digitized at the point of loading. No paper slips, no manual handling. Data is stored digitally and is accessible from the office dashboard at any time, and operators can confirm the ticket on-screen.

Gain full control over your fleet

Choose which Volvo excavators and wheel loaders send data to the Load Ticket service, and scale the service as needed. All data is stored in the cloud, so you can easily track jobs, edit tickets, review history, and monitor material movements.

Made for high-volume loading operations

Load Ticket is suited to any operation where load volumes are high, invoicing is based on what's been moved, and accurate records matter. Quarry and mining operations benefit from real-time ticket data that removes end-of-day reconciliation work. Construction sites can automatically link loads to the correct customer, material, and purchase order at the point of loading, and material handling and waste and recycling operations gain a centralized, traceable record of fleet activity that supports accurate invoicing and client reporting.

How it works

Load Ticket runs through Load Assist and Dig Assist on the Volvo Co-Pilot interface - no additional hardware required. From the moment the operator confirms a load, verified data is automatically sent to the office dashboard, so your team has accurate records ready for invoicing before the truck has left the site.

Prior to loading, the operator selects the correct work order, material and target in Volvo Co-Pilot. If any of these entities are not available, the operator can create them manually.

The machine’s Volvo On-board Weighing system automatically records the weight during loading, with minimal input required from the operator.

The operator confirms the load ticket on the Volvo Co-Pilot screen. All relevant data is automatically linked to the confirmed load – time, target, loading asset, operator, quantity (tonnes), material, and customer.

The confirmed ticket and data become instantly available for review in the office dashboard. The operator also has the option to print a physical copy if there is a printer installed in the cab.

Load Ticket features

Load Ticket is designed to remove the friction between the loading cycle and the office – connecting machine data in real time to the people who need it. Every feature is built around one goal: accurate load data, ready for invoicing when a load is confirmed.

The operator can generate a load ticket directly from the Volvo Co-Pilot screen at the point of loading. All relevant data is automatically captured and linked to the confirmed load – including time, loading asset, operator, quantity, material, and customer details. This reduces reliance on paper slips and manual data entry, reduces the risk of errors, and creates complete, accurate records at the point of loading.

Once a load ticket is confirmed by the operator, it is automatically uploaded to the Volvo Cloud and made available on the office dashboard. The system updates in real time*, meaning office administrators have immediate access to load data as it happens. This can speed up the invoicing process and reduce delays caused by missing or late paperwork.

*Update frequency may vary depending on the web browser used.

The office dashboard is a desktop portal that provides administrators with real-time visibility of all incoming load tickets from connected machines. It provides a central point for reviewing, managing, and exporting load data for invoicing and reporting purposes. This gives operations managers a clear, centralized overview of all loading activity across Volvo wheel loaders and excavators, simplifies invoicing, and reduces the administrative workload.

Operation managers gain full control over which machines contribute data to the system and can ensure data accuracy by limiting input to authorized machines only. There is no limitation on the number of machines or users that can be connected – you can scale the system to any fleet of Volvo CE machines without additional complexity.

You can export load ticket data by using various filter options. Data summaries can be exported in CSV, Excel, and PDF formats for easy upload to external business systems, which can simplify reporting by allowing data to be filtered and extracted as needed.

With Load Ticket, you can connect customer, purchase order and material information to your load records. Organizing this information directly within the digital workflow helps ensure that each load is linked to the right customer, order and material. This improves traceability, reduces manual administration and provides reliable records to support reporting and invoicing.

Alongside the digital load ticket, the operator can print a physical copy from the cab for the truck driver if a printer is installed in the cab. This allows operators to maintain flexibility for operations or customers that still require a paper record, without disrupting the digital workflow. It also supports a smooth transition from paper-based to digital processes.
