A variation of the R100 is available with all-round oil cooled disc brakes, providing superb braking and retardation control, fast downhill travel speeds and longer brake component lifecycles. This factory-fit option was introduced so that we can offer it to our customers when it is the right requirement for your operation, helping to maximize productivity while also reducing maintenance and operating costs.
Controlled downhill speed
The front oil cooled multi-disc brake system increases total brake area by 50% by installing oil cooled brake hubs to the front wheels, supporting a strong braking performance and excellent control in tough hauling applications. With all-round oil cool disc brakes, the R100 can maintain controlled downhill speeds up to 26km/h on 10% gradients and 19.5km/h on 15% gradients – helping shorten cycle times and boost the productivity of your operation.
Longer component lifecycles
Longer component life, fewer front brake interventions and a 66% increase in the rear brake lifecycle help keep the R100 working for longer without interruption - reducing planned maintenance requirements, supporting higher availability and lower operating costs over time.
