Volvo Construction Equipment is gearing up for a road trip across Europe this autumn to showcase its extensive range of urban-focused compact machines and services.
A new campaign called ‘Volvo on Tour’ has been announced by Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) to focus on the manufacturer’s compact machines, features, and services in urban environments. The roadshow, inspired by the ‘City Compact’ theme, is a collaboration with Volvo CE dealers around Europe, and will showcase eight machines complete with attachments and an excavator simulator.
The first of the seven events kicks off in Eschenbach, Switzerland on September 21 and continues throughout the autumn, with the last show in Madrid, Spain on November 24. At each of the three-day exhibitions, the machines will occupy various zones of a demo area, where guests will have the opportunity to evaluate and operate the equipment. Machines on display during Volvo on Tour include short swing radius compact excavators, wheeled excavators, and compact wheel loaders.
Looking forward to the launch, Stefan Lind, Volvo CE’s business director for continental Europe, says: "Volvo on Tour is a good opportunity for customers across Europe to find out more about Volvo CE’s product and service offering. We’ll be bringing a large range of compact machines right to their doorsteps – along with experts from the local dealer and Volvo CE.
"The tour will start in Switzerland and then travel to France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, with the last stop being Portugal. There’s no doubt it will be a grueling nine weeks but we look forward to meeting old and new customers. We’re excited at the prospect of hitting the road!"
