Ready to Run
Whatever the weather, ensure your machine is prepared for immediate operation in all climates with the Ready to Run option. The system automatically pre-heats or cools the batteries and cab to an optimal operating temperature of around +25°C, waking up the machine up to one hour before scheduled operation. What’s more, when plugged in during overnight charging the Ready to Run option utilizes the charging gun as the primary power source to wake the machine, helping to maintain battery power. Available as a software update on already shipped machines, Ready to Run helps to ensure maximum uptime and maintain battery energy for reliable, uninterrupted performance.
Counterweight LED Bar
The LED light bar integrated within the counterweight provides a clear and intuitive visual indicator of machine status and safety items. An animated light sequences provide visual status updates of a host of machine functions including wake-up, operation and shutdown, as well as a visual display of battery status during charging. The LED bar also helps to enhancing jobsite awareness and safety by integrating with the People and Obstacle Detection system, providing a visual and audible warning when people are detected which intensifies as they get closer.

Flexibility with standard connector
The EC230 Electric is equipped with CCS1 connector which is a standard connector in most of the European countries. This means you can connect this unit pretty much everywhere. It gives you the flexibility to use the EC230 Electric anywhere and use all available chargers on the market. The EC230 Electric is delivered with a cable charger with the power level of 22 kW, which enables battery charging via a CEE socket.
A range of charging solutions
A DC charger of at least 60kW is required. You can also use a 250 kW DC fast charger with CCS1 connector, which takes about 90 minutes from empty to full, utilizing a 480V 3-phase 400amp. If you are using a 60kW (480V 3-phase 100 amp) portable charger it will take 6.5 hours to charge from empty to full.
