Put Volvo Compactors to work
Every pass counts, right? That's where we come in. We've poured decades of know-how into Volvo compaction machinery so you get cutting-edge tech that delivers the precision you need, when you need it. Bottom line: You have targets to hit both below ground and above. Let’s hit them — and keep your reputation strong.
Higher dynamic force
Our vibratory drums offer high dynamic force and frequency, so you reach densities faster.
Optimized impact spacing
High frequency allows your operators to travel faster while maintaining proper impact spacing. All Volvo large tandem rollers come equipped with an impact spacing meter for proper spacing.
8 amplitude settings
Eight selectable amplitude settings give you precise adjustments based on lift thickness and material type.
Auto-reversing eccentrics
Our 8-amplitude drums use a hand wheel connected to the eccentric weight to change amplitude, so eccentric rotation automatically reverses to match the direction of travel for smoother results.
More dual amplitudes
Most OEMs offer only dual-amplitude drums, but we offer dual-amplitude drums plus multiple frequency options so you can dial in precision even more.
Larger drum diameters
We lead the industry with large drum diameters on tandem rollers. Some OEM rollers come with small-diameter drums for a lower production cost, but that can sacrifice performance and quality.
Expect more — and get it
Your reputation rides on getting the job done right every time — so does ours. That's why we design durable compactors built for superior results and back them with a Lifetime Frame and Structure Warranty. See how this comes to life with one of our flagship asphalt compactors, the DD128.
