LC450H Landfill Compactor
The LC450H is the first purpose-built landfill compactor from Volvo. Built on decades of experience in providing solutions to the waste and recycling industry, we have combined our expertise to work in partnership with Terra Compactor Wheel Corp., a leading manufacturer of landfill compaction wheels, cleats, rolling wire guards, and machine parts.
Solving real-world customer challenges
Controlled handling at height
A 110‑ton EC750 excavator on a 4‑metre pillar, powered by both a diesel engine and electric motor, enabling controlled handling at height with up to 23 m reach in demanding industrial conditions.
Built for heavy towing
An A25 hauler solution developed to handle demanding towing operations, supporting trailer weights of up to 170 tonnes while maintaining controlled operation at speeds up to 30 km/h.
Low-profile tunneling operations
An L150 wheel loader configured for tunnel environments, with a cab lowered by 35 cm to support block handling in confined spaces while maintaining operator safety and comfort.
