Volvo CE Masters

Competition for Volvo CE technicians

The Volvo CE Masters competition is arranged by the global and regional aftermarket training organizations. It’s open to technicians of authorized Volvo CE dealers with a clear focus on know-how and practical knowledge. The aim is to help employees develop and improve their knowledge, skills and ability to work as a team. The competition is also a way of showing how much hard work that is carried out at dealers all over the world, and that we together invest in what our customers appreciate most – world class service.

The EMEA Masters Final

The competition is organized in different rounds, starting at the dealer level and then leading up to the EMEA Masters Final. The teams are facing theoretical questions regarding products, parts and service according to Volvo protocols and standards.

The ten best teams from competitions in Hub South, West and North are now drafted to the final which will take place from November 27 to 29 in Dubai. The competitors are the following:

  • Sweden: Lars Sundkvist, Krister Kastman, Robin Winter and Marcus Lennertsson 
  • Democratic Republic of Congo: Yevgeniy Garafutdinov, Rahoul Tari, Azeddine Dinar and Sanjeet Kumar
  • Finland: Pasi Isoniemi, Mika Mikkonen, Mats Holmfors and Antti Juutila 
  • Germany: Hagen Wolf, Mile Davidovic, Udo Lenhardt and Sebastian Sack
  • Ghana: Michael Acquah, Christian Ababio, George Owusu and Philip Ackon
  • Great Britain: Tom McNair, Layton Ryzy, Michael Christer and Craig Spence
  • France: David Toussaint, Jean-Luc Saurat, Benoît Duriez and Dominique Clèdes
  • Netherlands: Ko Oomen, Hendrik Molenaar, Jos Houben and Sybren Hof 
  • Turkey: İlker Seyfi Dogan, Erol Gokkaya, Orçun Çapacı and İlyas Oskay
  • United Arab Emirates: Yassir Ahmed, Paul Mathew, Joseph George and Renjith Balan

The winning team in the EMEA Masters final will meet competitors from the other regions APAC, AMERICAS and CHINA in a final Global competition. This final leg of the competition will take place in March 2019 in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
