Discover a new way with Volvo at Intermat

Discover a new way with Volvo at Intermat

Volvo Construction Equipment will use its 3,726m2 (40,110ft2) of stand space to show how innovation and a constant desire to uncover novel ways to improve are shaping its 2012 product offering. Under the concept theme of ‘Discover A New Way’ Volvo CE will display12 new machines.

Under the Parc des Expositions’ spotlights machines will be arranged by customer use and application, demonstrating how Volvo machines are designed to work together as a total customer solution. A wide range of new fuel efficient products and services will be shown. Highlights include the ECR145D/ECR235D reduced radius excavators, the new EW range of wheeled excavators and the heavy duty EC380/480D excavators. Wheel loaders are not forgotten, and there will be the all-new range of wheeled and tracked skid steer loaders, the L45G and L50G mid-sized wheel loaders, the larger L60/70/90G wheel loaders – and the revolutionary L250G wheel loader. There is plenty of innovation to discover among the company’s road machinery products too, including the new DD25 double drum compactor and P7820C ABG asphalt paver.

The company will also convey how Volvo innovations have a high performance impact on customer profitability. One revolutionary example of this is Volvo’s unique On Board Weighing system for its F-Series articulated haulers. Using pressure sensors on the suspension, the system logs all transported loads and allows complete payload management – giving access to data such as total transported load in tonnes; tonnes transported per litre of fuel and number of cycles.

The Volvo stand will highlight everything from advanced engineering solutions to mobile high-tech diagnostics that allow customers to accurately calculate their costs. A dedicated Service and Support unit will, meanwhile, promote the company’s CareTrack remote monitoring system, maintenance packages and Volvo Financial Services offerings. Visitors will also learn how the Volvo Eco Operator programme represents a safer and more environmentally sensitive way of training operators, while also having the chance to try Volvo’s impressive site simulators.

Pat Olney, the company’s President and CEO, will host an international press conference during the show, in which he will highlight trading conditions and introduce the new product line up.

Highlighting the breadth of the Volvo Group, Volvo Construction Equipment is joined at  Intermat 2012 by sister companies, Volvo Penta – who is presenting its own advanced solutions to meet the requirements of the EU and US emissions legislation – and Volvo Trucks, who will show its latest generation of construction-focused trucks.

Volvo Construction Equipment comes to the industry’s biggest show this year with a positive outlook based on a strengthening reputation for providing total customer solutions – whatever the economic situation – and arguably the most innovative fleet of products and services on the market.

Why don’t you discover a new way with Volvo in Paris this year?
