Expander bolts – one of two good solutions

There are two good solutions when the machine's joints and attaching points are worn.

Genuine Volvo pins are designed to handle the stresses a construction machine is subjected to in normal work. If they are lubricated as recommended by Volvo and are replaced when they are worn, then genuine Volvo pins is the natural choice.

But, sometimes wear causes play in the attaching points and the holes are worn oval. Replacing the pins won't help and a repair costs both time and money. In that case, using expander bolts is the perfect solution: fast, economic and permanent.
