On September 12, 2007 Volvo Parts Regional Warehouse was having an inauguration and the first year celebration near the airport Sheremetyevo. The warehouse delivers spare parts for road building machines, trucks, industrial and marine engines to Volvo customers across Russia.
VIP guests from Sweden, including President of Volvo Parts Corporation Lars-Åke Jävert arrived to celebrate this outstanding event.
The guests could make sure that in the operational Volvo Parts Regional Warehouse complies with all international standards.
The warehouse building full fills European standards. The warehouse has an area of 5000 square meters and the ceiling 12 meters high, thus allowing Volvo CE to store parts with regard to the growing market.
One of the main evidences of the warehouse successful activity is a most wide item range - from highly expendable filters for the whole model range of road building machines to the unique sized cylinder for the biggest Volvo excavator.
It is worthy of note that Volvo was the first foreign company to make such a significant investment in the development of road-building machines business. In the context of rapidly growing market (up to 100% per year) quickness of decision making and implementing is one of the key factors for success. Such an investment made by Volvo proves that Russia's market is acknowledged as the most significant one in the world.
