1832 – Eskilstuna Mekaniska Verkstad is founded and with it
the foundation of the future company.
1932 – The merger between Munktells Mekaniska Verkstads
Aktiebolag and J & CG Bolinders Mekaniska Verkstad
AB.
1950 – AB Volvo buys 100% of the company.
1985 – VME Group is founded and Volvo BM AB becomes
part of the VME Group with AB Volvo as 50%
owner.
1995 – AB Volvo acquires the remaining 50% of VME Group
and Volvo Construction Equipment is formed.
