Åkermans Gjuteri & Mekaniska Verkstad was restructured as Aktiebolaget Åkermans Gjuteri och Mekaniska Verkstad.

1904
Hatmaker Ola Andersson ordered a submarine. He paid SEK 1 545 in advance plus a further SEK 345 for what was intended to be a ten-metre mini-sub. It was never more than a hull, however, and was scrapped after Ola Andersson died.

1906
In July the company changed name to Nya AB Åkermans Gjuteri och Mekaniska Verkstad.

1923
The company changed name back to AB Åkermans Gjuteri och Mekaniska Verkstad.

1924
Road rollers were included in the production programme.

1927                                                                                                                           Roller-graders were included in the programme.

1934
The "Vägbitaren" (Road Biter) road grader was introduced.

1939
Excavators were included in the programme.

1967
Aktiebolaget Åkermans Gjuteri & Mekaniska Verkstad introduced the hydraulically manoeuvred excavator.

1972
Excavator manufacture at Kockum Landsverk was transferred to Aktiebolaget Åkermans Gjuteri & Mekaniska Verkstad.

1991
The company became part of the VME Group.
