Harrisburg, PA-July 20, 2009 - On July 1st, Highway Equipment & Supply Company purchased the assets of the Lewisberry and Moosic branches of VCES, (Volvo Construction Equipment Services), formerly Ingersol/Rand.

According to the Company President, H. Michael Liptak, "Highway now has a much greater line of equipment products and services to supply the needs of our customers".    "Not only do we offer the construction equipment serving the earthmoving and mining industry, we now have the Road Machinery products to offer the paving and road industry as well".

Highway Equipment & Supply Company is based out of Harrisburg with branch offices in Drums, Lock Haven and Brownstown.  For over 60 years, the company has provided quality construction equipment and responsive product support.
